Testimonials

Domonique’s presentation on LGBTQIA identity and terminology is a gem and something I would highly recommend to any person I meet as it sets the foundation for understanding identities across the LGBTQIA community. Frankly, Domonique possesses a seemingly flawless understanding of this topic, which she effortlessly presents, clearly indicative that DEI education is a passion of hers.

What most impressed me were the transparent and open conversations she facilitated and her ability to answer, at times, what appear to be difficult and uncomfortable questions in such a calm, professional, and clear manner. Her presentation was an eye-opening experience and walking out of it I felt I had an even better comprehension of my own identity as a cisgender male.”-Zoom Attendee Testimonial, ABCs of LGBTQIA Educational Program, Graduate Alumni Association

“This was a great workshop, Domonique was an outstanding presenter.”– Lead Staff Member Testimonial, LGBTQIA Health Educational Program, Nonprofit Healthcare Organization

“Domonique’s workshop was inviting, centered empathy, and prioritized actionable and attainable steps that participants could take to create a more inclusive, equitable, and just community at their institutions and organizations. The workshop then coached participants on how they can build knowledge, engage in reflection, and ultimately move to action to create more equitable environments. The workshop also demonstrated how to use critical check-ins that could be used in classrooms, or other group environments, to identify and address individual concerns or obstacles that might be limiting a student or participant’s ability to engage and be fully present in a conversation. One participant shared that “this session was phenomenal…the scenarios that we had to work through were so illuminating and so helpful.”-2023 ASPIRE Project Team, Women Employed

“I would best describe Domonique’s approach to DEI as direct but flexible. She conveys her knowledge in such a way that it is relatable and easy to follow. Her emphasis on how historical context serves as gateways to current experiences allowed listeners to identify DEI concerns within their communities. Domonique’s expertise is exhibited not only through her proficiency and thoroughness but also her efficient detailed communication. I would recommend her to any organization, company or university searching for a DEI expert” – Laqwanda Roberts-Buckley, MSSW, Executive Director, Healing Black Women, Inc.

“Thank you Domonique E. Noel, MHA for graciously coming to campus to speak about LGBTQ+ affirming care in the clinical setting! It was such a well organized, informative, and engaging presentation for all! We commend you for all your efforts to provide the best care for all patients!” – Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, Montclair State University

“Women Employed has had the pleasure of having Domonique present at our events on two different occasions. In her most recent presentation, she spoke to an audience of math and English developmental education faculty, staff, and administrators on ways to close equity gaps for Black and Latinx students. Her presentation was well received, had active participation from attendees, and hit on key points for developmental education reform. Domonique is great to work with and always brings a fresh perspective to the work being done.” – 2024 ASPIRE Convening, Women Employed
